It's been a long time coming :)
Do you remember this quilt? I started it in 2016 when Quilty 365 was popular. You can read prior posts here.
The polka dot border was leftover from a blouse I made in 1965 :)
I wanted to show you the quilting stencils that I used but for some reason I couldn't get the photos to load/transfer. If and when they do I'll post them. One is a pumpkin seed and the other is 4 petals in a square.
Maybe you'll get the idea from this photo. The light was just right to capture the quilting.
Sorry about the shadow on the upper left. I haven't figured out a way to avoid it when I photograph quilts on my design wall.

It feels so good to have Marbles finished. Now I'm ready to tackle another UFO :)

Your quilt is beautiful! The hand quilting is just right and I love the colors you chose. Isn't appliquéing circles fun?! Congratulations on your finish!!

Oh what a wonderful finish! I remember the marbles from back when we started the Quilty 365 and this one came out beautifully! Your quilting is perfect for this little gem. Kudos!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, your Marbles quilt is a vision splendid! It is just so pretty. Love the floral fabric dancing around those polka dots. The backing is fabulous, too. A most gorgeous finish!
