Wonderful Memorial Day Post Barbara. Those monuments are incredible. Love your little quilt.
ReplyDeleteMay they all rest in everlasting peace.
ReplyDeleteSo many young men, long ago and still today.
ReplyDeleteCan't remember how I found your blog but so glad I did! When time permits our own family history is being searched with references to ancestors who served from the Revolutionary War onward. Mankind refuses to learn from the past - we keep losing our young people.
ReplyDeleteWhat a touching post Barbara....most of these heroes were very young.....
ReplyDeleteYour little quilt is very cute !
