This 'n That

Want to see some fall foliage? Or some chairs? Or a little quilt? Or a screensaver? Click on the photos for a better view.

Sunrise on the mountain and river taken from our deck.

Same view on another day but from our dock.

On a back road . . .

. . . leading to Franklin Falls--one of my all-time favorite places.

In my quest to decorate Adirondack-style, I bought some new dining room chairs. Aren't they fun?

I couldn't resist making another little quilt . . .

. . . from thrift shop fabrics.

I plan on donating it to the shop but this time I added a label :)

When I turned on my computer last week, this colorful image was on the screen. Thanks, Microsoft! What a great idea for using solid fabrics!

I'll close with this expansive view and will share more next week :)

Enjoy the season!

  1. Gorgeous surroundings to greet you every morning. Fall colors around here are elusive and more muted than usual and many trees dropped their leaves without any color to speak of. Love those new chairs, they look so warm and comfortable.

  2. Lovely views of the fall foliage in your area!
A sweet little quilt finish from the thrift store fabrics. I have a grandson that loves trains and he would have spotted Thomas immediately in that quilt! :)
When you get around to the solid color quilt creation, it would be fun to print that photo that inspired it on the label.

  5. What gorgeous photos! Fall is my favorite time of the year despite the shorter daylight hours. That little mini is so adorable and what a perfect label. I know it will fall into the hands of someone who needs to brighten up their day.
