I tackled Block 77 first and used the same print for both the red and green petals.

Block 78 was pretty easy. One large neutral print circle with green appliques.

Block 79 had 28 small pieces. This was the 2nd time making the same block but in a different color combination.
This was the other version--block #63.

Wow, your persistence has paid off, Barbara! This is so exciting to be drawing near to closure on this beautiful quilt. Your applique work is exquisite, but I had to laugh when you said block 78 was pretty easy. The only one that looks remotely like anything I'd call easy is number 80--because it could be machine pieced! :)

ReplyDeleteOh my! It is no secret that I love the applique blocks best, but this months blocks are simply gorgeous. It is amazing how that #79 block can look so different in different colorways. Stunning!
